Sen. Unterman to Announce Her 2020 Plans Tomorrow
We have received a media advisory that Sen. Renee Unterman (R-Buford) will be holding an event with her supporters at Buford Town Square tomorrow, Thursday, June 6, at 7:30 p.m. to “announce her plans for the 2020 election cycle.”
The AJC is reporting that she will be joining the GA-7 race for congress. She is currently serving her ninth term as a State Senator and was the main sponsor for the “Heartbeat Bill.”
If she does enter the GA-7 race, she will join Lynne Homrich, Joe Profit, and Rich McCormick as Republicans vying for the seat that Rep. Rob Woodall (R) is not seeking re-election for.
