With reports of on then off action in response to the downing of a US drone by Iran, it’s apparent it’s going to take a few more buckets of chicken and cheeseburgers before Trump’s gut feeling is set. The GOP will explain military action was unavoidable if it comes to that., though it would have been avoided had Trump not withdrawn the US from the nuclear deal. But that’s a lie for another day.
Yes it’s Trump’s fault the drone was shot down! If he was not a racist and Islamophobe it certainly wouldn’t have happened!

I didn’t say the drone downing was Trump’s fault. It had nothing to do with his racism or Islamophobic pandering. You must be a hardworking Georgian.
Trump doesn’t want to start another war, but him doing so is a significant risk given his instability, and the sycophants and war-mongerers about him. Necons are now making the case the Iranian regime is so fragile the US military could depose it—who needs allies anyway. Yeah, they’ve really thought this through.
Are insults enough of a campaign strategy to win for Trump’s opposition? Serious question. Where is the 2019 version of serious Democrat politicians like Sam Nunn or Bill Bradley? And the major insult of “racism” is getting ready to tag Biden if the Democrats aren’t careful. He’s gonna be “Trent Lott-ed” if this plays out like it appears it might. I am looking forward to next weekend’s Democrat debates. Aside from Biden not one has a chance.

Insults? It’s the style of the Republican head of government, it being necessary to communicate with conservatives in a style they know and understand.
It’s tough to say anything complimentary about Trump calling off a retaliatory military strike in response to the drone downing beyond Trump noting 150 lives was not proportional, because of his instability, narcissism and serial lying.
Who calls off an attack 10 minutes beforehand with planes in the air? Trump said he didn’t order plan preparation, but planes were in the air when he ordered it stopped? Trump stopped it after asking how many casualties were anticipated—like nobody but a stable genius would have thought of that—and the military hadn’t already told him.
Trump has turned the US into a foreign policy patsy. Putin informed Li’l Kim of that a month ago. Li’l Kim shared that with Xi. It’s a foreign policy version of the Samsumg phone to charging phone commercial. In the matter at hand Trump pooped on allies before surrounding himself with Mideast war-mongers and regime changers when a military war with Iran or a much higher Mideast instability would destroy any chance at re-election.
Leadership and restraint on full display. Trump’s margin of victory in ‘20 just got bigger. I feel sorry for the opposition.

It wasn’t one party that claimed there was no crisis at the border. Many reality based military, Security, state, local officials and other government and non-gov employees and people “with-a clue” said this. Most illegal immigrants are the results of visa overstays, not folks walking across the Arizona desert. A border wall won’t stop that. The vast majority of illegal drugs coming from Mexico/Central America enter the US through legal points of entry in trucks, a border wall won’t stop that.
A real crackdown on “illegal immigration” would involve significant fines and criminal penalties against employers who hire undocumented immigrants. But we won’t do that because US agriculture is heavily reliant on cheap immigrant labor. Heck, the President’s own golf clubs and hotels employ undocumented immigrants (a fact the President is doubtlessly aware of).
So don’t do anything about China?

Before Trump took office, the US was on the verge of entering into a multilateral trade deal that would have enshrined tougher IP protections across the Asia-Pacific region and aligned A-P economies more closely to the United States thereby making it harder for China to continue operating the way it currently does with regard to IP theft, currency manipulation, etc. while maintaining robust trade with Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Canada, the United States, etc. President Trump pulled the US out of that agreement – which was a big big big win for China – and now the Chinese are filling in the void created when we abdicated our place in the region.
Lower corporate taxes in the US encourages businesses to stay here.

And we can thank the history of the factory in Camden, SC and the 20 year effort in expanding the Port of Savannah. It should be noted that some of these jobs had already been announce for the warehouse last year. Haier Group purchased Roper in 2016 with the plan to expand along the Savannah logistic corridors.
