Had trouble slogging through The Mueller Report? That’s understandable since it offers a large cast of characters providing a great amount of detail presented in a just-the-facts-ma’am style. It’s accurate and comprehensive but dry and dispassionate too. Not exactly a page-turner.
The folks at Insider saw the problem and hired Mark Bowen, author of Black Hawk Down and Killing Pablo to shape the bare facts of the report into a more accessible narrative. Chad Hurd of Archer provided illustrations. I think they both have done a fine job.

Pop the corn because its showtime. First the British Ambassador, now the former VP nominee and House Speaker Paul Ryan unload on the “unstable racist”.

Remember this was a man that the republicans begged to take over as speaker because no else in the world wanted that job. He was the idea man and savior for the modern party until….
When the zombies get through with Ryan he may have to move to Iran if the Russians don’t poison him or MBS doesn’t throw him into the wood chipper first.
Unstable racist….really? Why not try some new material? Unstable jerk might fit. But racist?
Ryan’s lack of leadership, abdication of principle, and taking up for Trump while Speaker are what got him on the Board of Fox News.
If you go to Statesboro for the BBQ, their brisket rocks. I got it with a butter poached lobster tail for a fund raiser night I attended in February or March. My pal who lives in the Boro tells me the fried chicken is wonderful too.

Trump said Acosta cutting a sex trafficing ephebophile a deal wasn’t a problem until the Dems made it so. Trump, himself a misogynist on tape saying “you can do anything” to women, is naturally sympathetic. The girls and women weren’t anyone he knew after all.
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” – Donald J. Trump
Channel two got a juicy quote, out of a man who had a racism lawsuit filed against him.
What are the ethics of this, for the tv station?
Obviously, the man should not have made that statement. Does the tv station have any responsibility for talking to this man? Apparently, he has not been served with any legal documents. Either he does not have a lawyer, or he is ignoring the advice of his counsel. Should channel two talked to that man on camera?
Everyone in America has the right to be a fool and a racist. He may be the next republican president acting the way he does.
A given 98% of the time is that television journalism is an oxymoron. That being said they have no obligation to protect ignorant people.

The stable genius made another breakthrough this week by his discovering there is all sorts of federal government information on immigrants beyond the census. Who knew? It’s almost as impressive as his invention of the phrase “prime the pump”.
Immigration isn’t the only thing Trump has worsened. It includes pretty much everything he campaigned on and the cult said its holds dear. His negotiations have Chinese imports from the US in June 31.4% less than June of last year.
Trump has shown he knew what he was talking about when he said he’d eliminate the national debt in 8 years. The 2019 deficit is currently at $747 billion, 23% higher than this time last year. Personal and corporate income tax receipts are down notwithstanding a $100 billion a year tax cut largely benefiting the rich. Rich Republicans don’t call it the Laugher curve for nothing.
“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how….” Donald J. Trump doing what Republicans do, MAGA.
I’m not a fan of AOC or the woke movement, but they do serve a purpose in highlighting the depravity the GOP requires to sustain itself..
“Silence is acquiescence, silence is consent.” — Sam Olens, likely the last Republican I’ll ever have voted for in a statewide election in Georgia.
The traditional GOP’s toleration of Trump unchecked Trump is an infection that eats away at dignity. The New Republic apologized for a Friday op-ed that made broad assumptions about the personal life of “Mary Pete” Buttigieg.

Trump will not lose one vote because of this. He’s already told you he could commit murder in plain sight and the zombies would find a way to justify it. He’s right, people in a cult don’t know they’re in one. They believe in things they don’t really understand because their loyalty is to a person who they’ve defified. god must be obeyed!
First thing I noticed was that the tweets weren’t getting front page coverage on Fox News site. Had to click through to the Politics page.
I’m not optimistic that anyone who does go through such sources will: 1) Notice; and 2) Critically analyze the texts and the emotions it produces in them.
