President Carter Hospitalized for Second Time in October

Suffering only a “minor pelvic fracture” after falling at his home in Plains, Former President Jimmy Carter is reportedly in good spirits.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter had a fall yesterday evening at his home in Plains, Ga. He has been admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for observation and treatment of a minor pelvic fracture. He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home.

Carter, at 95, is substantially tougher than I am and has now been hospitalized three times this year. I bet he’s at work tomorrow because let’s be honest: he may or may not be invincible.
