Georgia Power is going up. Meanwhile those Georgians who get wholesale power serviced by TVA will likely not see a rate hike for the next decade. https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/business/aroundregion/story/2019/dec/17/tvsees-new-errate-stabilityelectric-prices-be/510858/
This is not what they mean by audience participation at a commission meeting son. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/16/us/wife-spills-soda-on-reporter.html
Loeffler can’t say anything different than she’s saying now and expect to win. And her money is there, too, to scare off challengers (and help get Kemp re-elected). However, her very deliberate, mostly behind the scenes introduction to the voting public doesn’t give me much hope that she’ll be any more accessible than our current wealthy business executive Senator… Anyone who writes, calls or tries to visit with our two current Senators knows that Sen. Isakson’s constituent services and responsiveness is leaps and bounds ahead of Sen. Perdue’s.
i guess we can hope that she keeps a some of isakson’s staff in place for such things…
Rep. Barry Loudermilk compares Trump’s impeachment process to Jesus’ trial. According to Barry, Jesus had it easier.
“When Jesus was falsely accused of treason, Pontius Pilate gave Jesus the opportunity to face his accusers. During that sham trial, Pontius Pilate afforded more rights to Jesus than the Democrats have afforded this president in this process.”
There are people of good motive and integrity that support the memorial display of the Confederate battle flag. The problem is that their predecessors did nothing to prevent the co-opting of the flag by racists.
It’s a process now repeating itself with Christianity. Those doing nothing while the public face of their faith is being co-opted by politicians for partisan purposes will bequeath their successors the respect accorded partisans.
For Loeffler and others who claim the impeachment process is so unfayur to Trump, here’s an article with a couple of good questions. Would she still feel the impeachment process was a sham if the situation was exactly the same except that if was President Hillary Clinton in the WH asking foreign leaders to investigate a potential GOP rival?
