That Glynn County site scheduled for cleanup has been on the superfund list since mid-1996. For 75 years before that, it was a big part of the local economy, hosting in turn an oil refinery, oil burning power plants, and producers of chlorine gas, hydrogen gas, and hydrochloric acid. They all left dangerous waste products behind.
Buddy Carter has tried to hold the EPA’s feet to the fire on the cleanup so the site can be developed.

The Trump economy has been adding not quite 200,000 jobs per month since Trump took office. The Obama economy was adding about 220,000 per month his last 2.5 years in office.
Republicans characterized the latter as tepid and lackluster, but crow when Trump achieves only 90%.
