Keep running that mouth Alyssa Milano GA Dept Audits Report on the Film Tax Credit.
“While these figures capture the impact of the projects supported by the credit, they do not consider the cost of the public subsidy of the industry and the resulting decrease in government spending. The net impact appropriately considers both the economic benefits and the economic costs of the credit. Assuming the forgone revenue had been spent on the primary categories in the 2016 budget (education and healthcare), the credit’s impact is reduced by $1.8 billion in output and 19,876 jobs.”
In other words, the state has been publicizing fake numbers. A bright high schooler has enough sense to deduct the benefits of the tax credit money being spent by government elsewhere from the benefits of giving it to the movie industry in determine the net benefit.
Can anyone confirm the $1 billion, yeah it’s a b, in movie tax credit liability is properly booked? The General Assembly may have more budget cutting to do.
Isn’t cutting taxes what republicans are suppose to do? Any cut to the state income tax rate is a ok with me. I believe the State Income tax hampers our growth when people can buy right over the line in Tennessee or Alabama. I’m sorry teachers you make more money than a lot of lawyers I know, so don’t use the promised raise as a reason to not cut my state income taxes.
OK Troll.
You need to associate with better lawyers
The state of Georgia is planning to execute Jimmy Meders.
This clip starts at 5:00 of the video. The commentary is priceless.
A man, armed with a machete, has just carjacked a vehicle, from the drive thru line at chik-fil-a.
Thanks Doug Collins for letting me off the hook, even though I’m a non-Democrat. Frankly, based on your career so far I never expected you to own up to any error ever, much less to admit you misspoke when you equated those who’re disturbed by the idea of president-as-assassin with those who love all terrorists, but if a man wants to be Senator he’s got to be prepared to make some tough choices, right?
I know you’ve been shaped by your experiences as a fighting chaplain, and who knows how many GIs and airmen you’ve comforted who cursed Democrats with their last breath, so it’s refreshing to see you retract your comments. Maybe next time you can even manage your apology in person instead of recruiting Scalise to do it for you.
“U.S. Cancer Death Rate Lowest In Recorded History! A lot of good news coming out of this Administration” — Trump tweet
The average life expectancy in the U.S. has been on the decline for three consecutive years, and the suicide rate is up 16% since 2010. Yeah, we know, Trump would say anything about the former unless it’s lies, and then blame Obama for the latter. As info, the cancer rate has been declining every year since 1991..
