Attorney General Chris Carr welcomed Advisor to the President, Ivanka Trump, to Georgia yesterday as part of a discussion with state and federal leaders and the Trump Administration about efforts to combat human trafficking nationwide.
Federal, state, and local law enforcement and representatives from the White House gathered at Wellspring Living, an Atlanta-based nonprofit assisting domestic sex trafficking victims, to discuss Georgia’s public-private restoration efforts for human trafficking survivors. Georgia has implemented tools, such as career readiness and workforce training, to help survivors overcome barriers to employment.
