14th District Gets Another New Candidate For Congress
Republicans in Georgia’s 14th congressional will have another candidate to consider to succeed Congressman Tom Graves. Kyle Perkins announced his candidacy for Congress on Facebook today.
In a letter posted on the Paulding Republican Women Facebook Group today, he mentions that he has been politically involved for a couple of years. The native Midwesterner and graduate of Georgia Southern University says that he can’t “sit by idly as people who live outside of our district attempt to speak on our behalf” though where he resides is noticeably absent from his Facebook page and campaign site at the time I write this.
You can check out the links above to explore the the candidate’s issues, but there doesn’t appear to be much substance that stands out from other rookie candidates with the usual conservative red meat issues (e.g, Liberals bad; Trump good; pro-Gun; pro-God; etc.) in his letter and on his website.
