My guess is the explosion in Walton County was some guys who preferred to spend half time shooting off tannerite instead of watching middle-age shaking.
Here is your post-football Monday Weekly Reader.
Wait, now I thought you said the planet was heating up………

The telltale hint here is that the sub-headline says “experts warn…”, but there’s only one “expert” indicated.
But you go ahead and buy some North Face stock anyway.
Benevolus the fact of this is simply the sun has entered into an unusual quite period. For the past 7 months we had almost no sunspot activity the last time something like this happened was during the Maunder Minimum which coincided with the Little Ice Age. That’s OK I’m sure that bright ball up in the sky has absolutely no effect on “Climate Change” politics what so ever…….
The fact of this is simply that no matter what the story actually says (“Thus there will probably be no detectable effect on global climate”, “any cooling effect will be “vastly offset” by climate change.”), you are easily triggered by a headline that provides even a mirage of a tenuous filament of a lifeline to a world-view that is crumbling at the foundation as surely as Trump will lie today.
BTW as an Addendum to this story NASA and ESA is preparing to launch the Solar Orbiter to complement the Parker Solar Probe Saturday night to gather more Solal scientific Observations and hopefully aid in space weather predictions.

Boy, those Kelly Loeffler ads seem awfully… arrogant. Call and thank her?
Ugh.
Senators prefer Rubles. I’m sure the cryptocurrency queen could launder them.
I do my best to avoid political ads but I don’t mind reading about them, so thanks for your post. That’s enough to get the flavor.
Meanwhile, Doug Collins fires on Loeffler, calling her a “pretend farmer with rotten friends”, ostensibly the gov. And it’s hasn’t been a week since his announcement.
