Congressman Lewis To Receive Top NAACP Award

The NAACP announced this year’s Chairman Award will go to Congressman John Lewis.

Congressman Lewis will receive the honor during the February 22 NAACP Image Awards.

NAACP Chairman Leon Russell hailed Lewis as a “modern hero in American history” who has “dedicated his life to protecting our constitutional rights, fighting injustice and speaking truth to power.”
