Morning Reads for Monday, March 23, 2020
We are probably all in varying stages of boredom, grief, anxiety, and positivity. Or, if you are an introvert, you are living your best life, much like my husband. Still contemplating donating him to the CDC, but he does keep the kitchen clean, so again, safe for now.
- Our hearts and prayers go out to Emma! She is 12 and on a ventilator in Atlanta due to COVID-19. We are betting she is a fighter though and we are sending all our love and prayers her way.
- State Senator Nikema Williams has tested positive for COVID-19, but seems to be doing well. Senator Williams makes 4 for the Senate.

Reposting this video. This is an edited version of a DOD news conference. A no-nonsense presentation by the general in charge of the Army Core of Engineers, it made me feel a bit better about the current crisis. The plan is to use the empty hospitals, dormitories, and other places to make ICU beds in a matter of days.
