Nine Percent of State Senate Now Tested Positive for COVID-19

With the news that Senator Lester Jackson tested positive for coronavirus, an alarming nine percent of the State Senate has tested positive for the disease.

That would be Senators Jackson and Nikema Williams (9.6% of the Democratic caucus) with their Republican colleagues Bruce Thompson, Kay Kirkpatrick and Brandon Beach (8.3% of the Republican caucus).

Congressman Drew Ferguson is under quarantine until March 27 after coming into contact with a member of congress who tested positive for COVID-19.
