I can’t even believe people are so petty as to write an article, and then consume the words, and further maybe even believe the underlying implication of the words- about a couple waves to a couple of reporters. I’m annoyed that I even have to write a response to it, but such is the reality of today’s political culture’s proxy media wars.
I read the link and made it through the first comment by Sharon: “There are quite a few people present in the room when that kind of adolescent triumphalism is happening and those people are not putting a stop to it or calling it out. When the history of the fall of our Republic is written, this public betrayal of trust manifested by Fauci, He-Costs-Us, and those who could call them out and did not — these things will show up somewhere perhaps, maybe in a footnote or an index.”
Thanks for that, Sharon.
Fear, ignorance, resentment–the new trinity of the nutter right. The really scary thing is how they’re reliably exploitated by the non-nutters, say on the issue of voter fraud or looting hordes from Atlanta.
Lot’s of folks are fearful of any kind of change and it will be crazy this fall with the election getting close.
