The Vernon Jones Self-Aggrandizing Tour Rolls On
Yesterday Georgians thought the Vernon Jones cancer might finally be exorcised from our body politic.
Well guess what: we were fools think Rep. Jones (D-Slimeball) would go out gracefully.
He should just switch parties at this point. He fits in believing he’s a victim and with his thought-free flipflopping.

He realized the bona fides of a few General Assembly votes would be helpful in searching out a new gig.
Circumstances are such that withdrawal from the primary makes moot residency and campaign contribution issues.
Snuggles and posse found a new Teflon shield against those pesky “residency and campaign contribution issues.”
So, doesn’t everyone who runs for office take an oath of loyalty to the party with which they’ve chosen to run?
While I’d never support blind loyalty, nor do I believe that anything in life, including loyalty, is monolithic — I wonder where the line is. Does VJ support Republicans up and down the ballot? Is it based on the issues, like prison reform, as he claims? Where does he stand relative to the platform planks?
Also, do parties have the power to investigate the depth of honesty relative to the oath taken? And couldn’t parties choose to revoke or disallow future affiliation based on their analysis?
