Morning Reads for Tuesday, February 16
Happy Mardi Gras! It’s cancelled, and it’s cold, so Real Talk: I wouldn’t be hauling myself to Zulu and Rex this morning anyway; I’d watch it on TV with a breakfast of cup of hot coffee and a slice of king cake. And the good news is that you can watch it on TV, sort of: Hoda Kotbe hosted Mardi Gras for All Y’all. And, there is always the WWOZ live stream. Laissez les bon temps roulet!

- The ascendance of MTG from Alpharetta to Q to Congress.
- Yardi Gras!

Happy Mardi Gras.
I especially enjoyed seeing the house honoring peaches, dogwoods, and Georgia politicians. Word spreads.

so apparently former senator perdue has filed paperwork to try get back in the senate by taking on warnock in ’22…i’ve heard a rumor of another potential warnock challenger, but i don’t know if it’s just crazy talk or if there is something to it, so i’ll leave it unspoken for now…i’m also hearing rumors of primary challenges to the guv and sos…but again people say all sorts of things, so…
I assumed it was to clear the field of one Doug Collins, whom I assume may now be hemmed in to the Governor’s race, if he still has 2022 ambitions.
well yeah one of the guv challengers i’ve heard was collins…but like i said people talk just to talk sometimes…
