I’m fascinated by the Golden Ray salvage job too. The smallest section they’re removing weighs nearly 3000 tons. The VB-10000 slicer could handle the T-1000 any day. I only hope someone is working on a documentary.
This is a promo video for Versabar the company that is doing the heavy lifting. They usually decommission oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. They take the top off in one piece. The bottom part is sunk to make a reef for marine creatures.
There a few amateur videos on YouTube documenting the Golden Ray salvage.
