This is an extended Monday Morning Reader. There are several facebook comments about Aaron Long, that later deleted.
Welp, it’s positive that Hice will be out of Congress.
He’s already alienated the Girls, Gays, and Theys. That works in the 10th, but won’t fly state wide.
My crystal ball says:
If someone can find a video of him being racist and hold it until a week before the election (not primary), we’ll have a Democratic SOS too.
my guess is tim echols will run to replace hice…so…
He has a decade+ statewide network and supports solar. Check.
Also – he was quoted as saying Planned Parenthood was racist and eugenicist because most abortions are in the African American community. Yet, he’s strongly Pro-life.
And TeenPact reads as straight cult-y.
He’s perrfect for the 10th. Gdammit.
Surely the Dem running for SoS will just plaster up Trump’s announcement, and flash imagery of Hice rejecting the vote certification alongside the Capitol insurrection. As will the other nonprofits/independent committees.
Will Loeffler’s group flash imagery of her withdrawing her challenge to the certification following the insurrection, disarrayed and repentant?
At this point, I think there is a new slice of the electorate tied into voting rights and voter empowerment, and if they can maintain their energy and information, they should be able to provide that narrow win over the policies and candidates that deserve extinction by election.
Raff may be able to win in the general because he would get credit and be rewarded from the center. That could send a strong signal to the GOP, but a Raff win would send the same evidence as a Hice loss. But since facts and math don’t seem to have the appeal or power they should…I see the aggressive aggrandizing, demonizing, malfeasant misrepresentations, and ethical cowardice continuing….
