Un-Representative Greene Gets Suspended From Twitter Again
Facts:
CNN Business has reported on the week-long ban handed out by Twitter to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for her total misuse of its platform to spread misinformation about the Covid-19 vaccine. Greene tweeted that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) “should not approve the covid vaccines” while further stating that they were “failing” and ineffective in reducing the spread of Covid-19. CNN has also posted a video where Greene is seen congratulating a crowd for a low vaccination rate.
Commentary:
Enough is enough. For someone so hell bent on talking about “fake news,” she is prorogating an outright lie. While Twitter’s policy will call for a permanent ban for another Covid-related offense, it is time for them to permanently ban her now. At a time that the Covid rates of highly unvaccinated areas are soaring, this is irresponsible and dangerous on her part. While it will never happen, Greene needs to apologize for her remarks and either step down as Congresswoman or at least announce she is not seeking re-election.

Thank you Lawton. She is traveling around so much trying to raise money and give out inaccurate information I wonder if her district has had any benefit from her being their representative.
” I wonder if her district has had any benefit from her being their representative.”
Not sure how many “LOL’s” this format will allow.
I recently asked a family member who was playing her up as being an effective representative to give me an example of legislation she had a hand in that served the people of the 14th.
Their response was typical GOP 2021: “Don’t matter, as long as she keeps after Pelosi and the squad”. Don’t matter… what a response.
People that support this woman are ignorant about political ideology, ignorant about science, ignorant about election law, ignorance across the board with a healthy dose of racism thrown in for good measure.
This is who’s in charge of your party now. You’ve earned it.
I applaud your anti-lie stand, Lawton, but good luck reining in the grifters. After all, those donations aren’t going to mail themselves.
In other Greene nuttiness, it turns out the lawyer she’s hired to sue Pelosi over fines levied for not wearing a mask was earlier suspended by two state bar associations over insider trading, and 15 years before that was court-martialed by the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he was a cadet at the time, for running unauthorized and malicious code on an AF server. He seems the perfect lawyer for Greene.

As a constituent of Congresswoman Greene’s District may i point out the fact that a good many, indeed a majority, of Georgians, in this “neck of the woods” approve of and even applaud her behavior. I am one of those. As to the statements regarding what she has done for her District, I believe it is no less than what the distinguished late Congressman from Georgia’s Fifth, John Lewis, accomplished in over 33 years of representing his constituents. After all that time, elected to all those terms, Atlanta’s Fifth District is financially no better off than when he was first elected. The streets are pot holed, the sidewalks collapsed and broken, the schools are incredibly deficient, the young men are perpetually under employed if employed at all, and the District’s Crime statistics are perhaps the worst in the State. 33 years of crony, “go along to get along politics,” Congressman Lewis’ accomplishment’s in improving the quality of life in the Fifth District are notably meager. Other than being a darling of the Black Caucus, and Southern White apologists, and Northeastern progressive media nabobs, what did he actually, physically accomplish that would distinguish him from Congresswoman Greene? And his tacit support of the BLM and other fledging anti-American, racially biased, and often violent protest groups is no less repulsive than the Congresswoman’s conspiracy beliefs and her anti-vax policies. Intelligent observers will easily discern the similarities in either party, left or right. What is shocking is that while many mildly progressive white Southerners can express admiration for a Black politician who accomplished less for his district than former Congressman Adam Clayton Powell did for his, they find it offensive that other White Southerners can enjoy the spectacle of a woman, a Southern woman, speaking her version of “Truth to Power.” Even I might consider a contribution to the Congresswoman’s coffers, if only to irritate the political hypocrites who have gleefully joined together, along with many,many out of district and out of state contributors, in an attempt to still the voices of my fellow 14th District constituents.
That’s a lot of words to admit she’s a useless pile of dung, but this is a favorite;
“they find it offensive that other White Southerners can enjoy the spectacle of a woman, a Southern woman, speaking her version of “Truth to Power.””
It’s a sitcom to her supporters. No substance required, just give us a spectacle to enjoy. Especially a southern woman for us white southerners. Curious how deliberate the capitalizations may be.
