- (Savannah Morning News) – Julius Hall has opened a legal loophole in Georgia for when a felon can be elected to office (2 years by State Parole Board vs. 10 years by Georgia Constitution) when he tried to qualify for Mayor of Port Wentworth
- (GPB) Herschel Walker to make his first campaign appearance at former President Trump’s rally in Perry on Saturday. Walker is listed as a speaker alongside Rep. Jody Hice, candidate for Georgia Secretary of State, and GA Sen. Burt Jones, candidate for Georgia Lieutenant Governor.

i’m not sure i’ll be able to explain it clearly but in my head, i completely understand that the constitution and the parole board are not in any sort of conflict…they are 2 different things. my understanding is that you have to wait 2 years to have your rights restored by the board of paroles, some people get that right a way some wait several years, i assume some never get theirs back, meanwhile a separate 10 year clock is ticking from the state constitution about when you can run for office after a felony conviction..it’s an “and” not an either or…again it’s perfectly clear in my head even if this explanation is a bit jumbled…
Burt Jones and Jody Hice were ready to commit sedition, insurrection, and civil war to heklp Trump.
They are the problem not the solution. I remember someone on here said they were really impressed with Burt Jones who was willing to overthrow a legal election and help that psycho Donald Trump.
