High prices and suffering? Ronald Reagan was the king of spreading suffering with high inflation and double-digit unemployment. I lived it. At least now you can find a job, you can find a job in like an hour. Back then you could go months with no job and no job prospects. Look up the misery index for the 80’s. It was extremely high.
The so called “Ministry of Truth” is about Russian disinformation. Every time I see a conservative talk about it all that comes to my mind is can’t conservatives go 1 day without carrying water for the Kremlin?
