Marjorie Taylor-Greene Declared Qualified as GA-14 Candidate
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has adopted the decision by Judge Charles R. Beaudrot that Marjorie Taylor-Greene is qualified as a candidate for Representative of Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. A challenge to her qualifications based on her actions and statements as a Congresswoman was issued by David Rowan, Donald Guyatt, Robert Rasbury, Ruth Demeter, and Daniel Cooper. I know it’s a common election board ballot term but can we just say she is eligible as opposed to “qualified”? She is less qualified to be in Congress than my dog. He’s not a grifter.
Well, Ms Greene and Jody Hice voted against aid to Ukraine on 5/10. I guess their buddy Putin is having a hard time and they want to help.
Is this place dead? Just pull the plug.
It’s definitely way quieter nowadays…
but I think one thing is that there has always been more readership than commentary. The site analytics would tell that story- if it exists- but I think it remains useful reads to many.
Also, this could be just a phase…maybe reflecting how difficult it is to have convos both within and between parties….who knows how ppl may feel after November…
so the peacefulness may actually be a gem in the rough…
It’s a rare moment when meeting the lowest bar possible yields the best compliment you’ll get.
But yes, our laws could evolve alongside our language better.
